Our Policies
If your child is ill we urge you to leave them at home. This is not only for the sake of your child’s recovery, but also for the sake of the other children and staff. The more able we are to limit the sicknesses which the children and staff come in contact with, the less of a chance that it will effect other children.
Illnesses:
- Fever of 100 Degrees or Higher
- Excessive Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Lice
- Pink Eye
Closures:
We are closed all Federal Holidays and the day after Thanksgiving. Any other closures will be announced to all parents well in advance.
Hours of Operation:
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 6:30pm. We also offer weekend hours. If there are any issues with these times please talk to the daycare director.
Accepted Programs:
We accept all Suffolk County childcare programs from DSS / DOL / CPS / SCO Family Services, as well as cash payments.
Meals / Snacks:
All meals and snacks are provided on a daily basis. If your child has any food allergies or special dietary or nutritional needs, please inform us prior to your child’s arrival. We will do our best to facilitate all special accommodations necessary.
Transportation:
We offer transportation for parents who do not have a way to get their child to and from daycare as well as school. Your child’s safety during this transportation is our top priority.
Weather Closings:
When there is severe weather, and the William Floyd School District is closed, then all of our daycare locations will also be closed.
